Reporting: Distribution costs analysis

This report shows the key data to analyse what your hotel’s distribution costs are and answer questions such as: are my distribution costs growing compared to the previous period, which is the most profitable sales agency and what is the cluster’s net RevPAR?

At the top you will find a short summary on:

  • The Net RevPAR for the selected date period which can be compared with the previous period.
  • The RevPAR retention, i.e. the % of revenue that the hotel finally collects after deducting agency costs.
  • Difference in channel costs between the current and the previous period.

The funnel shows in which stage of distribution most of the costs are incurred. To the right of each stage, you will see a comparison with the previous period, which helps to identify any changes in strategy.

Finally, the table below shows the ranking of the most profitable agencies, with 1 being the one with the lowest cost, in the filtered time period.

Important note: to calculate the net metrics, only the agency commission costs configured in the Configuration-Pricing-Segmentation-Channel Segmentation-Agencies section are being taken into account.
